AMD appoints Donald Njuela as chief technology director for servers

AMD today announced the appointment of Donald Njuela the post of Vice President and Chief Technology Director (CTO) for servers. A prominent engineer with over 20 filed patents, Newell had previously worked as a senior chief engineer, leading teams to develop system-on-Chip (SoC) and datacentar networking architecture in the Intel Labs before joining AMD in the rodmapa server management and program design platform.
